  Compatability: As of July 18, 2007, the current version (3.2) of this software works with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, & Windows XP. A version will be released soon that will be compatable with Windows Vista, but it is currently only available in beta testing.

  How to Make It Work for You - Getting the Software: Go to their site and download the software by clicking here. Once you have downloaded the software and installed it, it is free to try. Once you have evaluated the software, please remember it is NOT free to keep, only to try. There is a small fee to be a registered user, which entitles you to free updates and free technical support of the product, and in our opinion this software is worth every penny of the $19.00 they are requesting for regular use of the software.

  How to Make It Work for You - Using the Software: After giving a lot of thought to how to help you use the software quickly and easily, the best comparison we can come up with is for you to think of this software as a large box of index cards. You title each card with the topic or category you want to make notes on, and then simply use the copy and paste function if you are copying the info from an email or yahoo group, etc. or just type in the info if you are recording it from memory. For each topic in your main category, you simply Add a New Card.

  To Help You Get Started: We have a Quilt Hints file started to help you get going. Some tips are loaded in each of the categories listed. FEEL FREE to change the card titles to match your own organizing system or way of thinking. Add your own hints to existing cards or to new cards. Make this work for you! It's such easy software and so versatile, you can use it to organize your books, your ufo's, hints, your e-mail addresses, your favorite quilty links, and many other aspects of your quilting life.

  Hint/Suggestion: We do suggest a separate file or 'file box' for major categories (books, ufo's, hints, gifts, etc) just for ease of use and quick finding of things when you need them.

  Other Sample Files: There are many sample files on a variety of topics available through the company website for free. These will help you get an idea of the variety of topics you can organize.   Back Up Your Data: We suggest you keep all the separate azzcard files in one folder, whether it is the default folder or one of your choosing, and make a backup of the entire folder on a regular basis, so that if the worst case scenario happens, you do not lose all your wonderfully organized data. For best results, back up to a CD or DVD.
